How to write up offers on your I-Pad

If you have an I-Pad or if you're thinking about getting one, this post is for you.   We're going to show you how to use your I-Pad to write up offers, take listings or do counters using Zipforms6 that's accessiable via C.A.R.'s website.

Step #1 - Get an I-Pad!   You can get one via Amazon from $489 for a first generation model or from $560 for the newer I-Pad 2.  Of if you're lucky, you're one of the few that won one last year at our annual holiday party!  :-D

Step #2 - When you first try to sign onto Zipforms using your C.A.R. credentials you'll need to purchase zipForm® Mobile Edition, an app that cost $9.95/year.  Learn more about this app here: www.car.org/zfmobile.   This allows you to use Zipforms on your I-Pad.

Why do you have to pay to use Zipforms on your I-Pad when you can use it on your laptop/computer for free?   Who knows, but you do.

Step #3 - Sign onto C.A.R.'s website from your new I-Pad.  Here's the link:  website.

Step #4 - Now you can use Zipforms just like you would on any other computer.  Write offers, save transactions, pull up other saved transactions, so on.  Once you're done composing a new offer/listing you can either use C.A.R's free Digital Ink software or the ever popular, $19.95 per month DocuSign.   Read more about DocuSign here, What's up with DocuSign Post.  Either way your client will get an e-mail where they can click a few times and the paperwork will come back to YOU legally signed.
